Break-in, theft at gun club lead to reward offer

Officials of the WV Clays Gun Club are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for a Christmas-week break-in at the group’s clubhouse off Ashford-Nellis Road on the Boone-Kanawha county line.

The property was vandalized and several valuable objects were stolen.

A club spokesman said any information should be communicated to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office at 304-357-0169. Names will be kept confidential.
