State-ranked Ravenswood and Braxton County are set to tangle Monday in the Little Kanawha Conference boys basketball championship at 8 p.m. at Roane County High School.

The event was postponed Saturday due to snow.

Ravenswood (18-1) is ranked No. 1 in the state Class A poll, while the Eagles (17-3) are No. 10 in the AA rankings. The team have not played this season.

Leading the scoring for the Red Devils are Isaiah Morgan (25.0 points per game), Stephen Dawson (15.9) and Jayden Rhodes (12.9).

For Braxton, Tayton Stout (18.8) is the top scorer, followed by Cole Browning (16.5) and Jadyn Stewart (12.2).

Before the title game, Parkersburg Catholic (12-8) and Webster County (12-6) play in the consolation game at 6 p.m,

Saturday’s boys games

Chapmanville 75, Sissonville 42: Drew Williamson tallied 20 points and Jordan Kish 15 for the Class AA No. 2 Tigers (19-1), who have already clinched the Cardinal Conference championship.

For the visiting Indians (10-10), Nathan Samples scored 20 points and Will Hackney eight.

Mingo Central 76, Philip Barbour 53: Garrett Brown scored 22 points and Jeremy Dillon 20 points with 10 rebounds as the host Miners knocked off the Class AA No. 5 Colts (16-3).

Also for No. 8-ranked Mingo (14-7), Drew Hatfield had 13 points and eight assists and Chase Warden 10 points. Levi Mac Adam (12 points) and Cole Whited (10) led PB.

Westside 49, Tug Valley 45: Shane Jenkins’ 13 points led the way for the Class AA No. 6 Renegades (16-5). Travis Cook added 13 points and 10 rebounds and Corey Hatfield 10 points.

For the Class A No. 5 Panthers (15-7), Levi Davis donated 13 points and six assists.
