Madison Slash added 11 points for the Highlanders, who led 39-22 at halftime. For the Black Eagles, Myra Cuffee and Lashae Watts each tallied 18 points and Maliha Witten 10.
Parkersburg South 80, Magnolia 54: McKenna Winans and Sierra Hayes each scored 23 points to spark the Patriots (9-8) to a home win. Erin Williams added 11 points for South, which had 29 assists on its 30 baskets, with Kenzie Johnson dishing out 12 of those assists.
Magnolia (14-7) was led by Kyndra Pilant (22 points, 13 rebounds) and Mady Winters (18 points, nine rebounds).
Bluefield 60, St. Albans 39: Carly Maretto scored 17 points as visiting Bluefield downed St. Albans. Autumn Spangler added 15 points for the Beavers and Jaisau Smith scored 13.
Aamayah Washington led St. Albans (10-10) with eight points.
Ripley 40, Hurricane 31: Taylor Kennedy scored a game-high 13 points to lead Ripley past MSAC foe Hurricane. Tessa Ray chipped in 11 points for the Vikings.
Brooke Lucas and Maddie Pifer led Hurricane with 10 points apiece.
Pocahontas County 55, Pendleton County 29: Laila Calhoun had 16 points and seven steals and Kira Bircher tallied 12 points for the host Warriors (15-2).
Greenbrier East 79, South Charleston 34: Cory Beswick gunned in six 3-pointers and scored 22 points as the Spartans (10-8) rang up a home win. Bailee Coles scored 11 points for East.
The Black Eagles (7-11) got nine points from D.J. Johnson and eight from Harold Pannell.
Ritchie County 63, Buffalo 60: Joey James led a balanced attack with 16 points as the Rebels eked out a win during the Hometown Invitational Tournament Division 1 ninth-place game in Clarksburg. Graden McKinney added 14 points and Adam Davis 10 for Ritchie (7-12).
Buffalo (6-11) was led by Alec Hanshaw’s double-double (11 points, 18 rebounds) and 23 points from Noah Thompson. Nathan Gibson scored 12 points.
Ripley 48, Wheeling Park 43: Ty Johnson had 19 points and Isaac Putnam 14 as the visiting Vikings rallied from an early 16-0 deficit to win against the Class AAA No. 5 Patriots (11-5).
For Park, which lost its third in a row, Alex Vargo scored 19 points.
Van 60, East Hardy 56: Jacob Jarrell scored a game-high 21 points and hit four 3-pointers to lead Van past East Hardy in the fifth-place game at the HIT in Clarksburg.
Gavin Smith added 14 points for the Bulldogs, and Caleb Price scored 12. Aden Funkhouser and Cole Swanson led East Hardy with 16 points apiece.
Gallia Academy, Ohio 65, Point Pleasant 28: Blaine Carter (13 points) and Bailey Walker (11) led a balanced effort for the visiting Blue Devils (12-7). Hunter Bush had eight points to pace the Big Blacks (4-13).
