The West Virginia Power scored four runs in the fourth inning, providing the difference in a 5-3 victory over the Augusta GreenJackets Friday night at Appalachian Power Park.

The Power trailed 3-0 before striking for the four runs. West Virginia scored on a passed ball, a two-RBI triple from Charlie McConnell and a J.R. Davis RBI double.

Davis and McConnell both had two hits and two RBIs for the Power (20-13). West Virginia added an insurance run in the fifth inning on a RBI single from Davis.

West Virginia completed the three-game sweep over Augusta and opens up a three-game series at home against the Kannapolis Intimidators on Saturday. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
