The West Virginia Power lost its fourth game in a row and for the tenth time in its last 12 games Wednesday night, suffering a 17-7 defeat at the hands of the Greensboro Grasshoppers at Appalachian Power Park.
Rodolfo Castro went 2 for 5 with a double and a three-run homer in the win for Greensboro (31-14), while Fabricio Macias homered and drove in a pair of runs with a 2 for 4 showing.
Seven players in the Greensboro lineup had at least two hits. Jarred Kelenic was the lone standout for West Virginia (22-23), as he went 2 for 3 with a triple and a solo home run.
The teams will meet in the third game of the four-game series at 7:05 p.m. Thursday.
